PM YASHASVI Scholarship 2025: Get Financial Support for Your Engineering Studies



 Are you passionate about engineering but worried about the financial costs? The AICTE YASHASVI Scholarship 2025 is here to help! This scholarship program provides financial assistance to students pursuing core engineering and technology courses in AICTE-approved institutions. If you're eligible, you could receive up to ₹50,000 per year to support your studies!

Scholarship Details

A total of 5,200 scholarships will be awarded under this scheme:

  • 2,593 scholarships for degree-level students

  • 2,607 scholarships for diploma-level students

Selected candidates will receive financial support through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) every year.

Who Can Apply? (Eligibility Criteria)

To qualify for the AICTE YASHASVI Scholarship, students must meet the following requirements:

Admission Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in the first year of a Degree/Diploma course in an AICTE-approved institution.

  • OR, must have secured admission in the second year through lateral entry in an AICTE-approved institution.

Family Income

  • The total annual family income should not exceed ₹8 lakh from all sources.

  • A valid income certificate issued by the State/UT Government is required.

Time Gap Restriction

  • The gap between completing the qualifying examination and joining the course should not be more than two years.

Eligible Branches

  • The scholarship is applicable only for core engineering branches.

  • If a student switches branches after enrollment, they will lose eligibility and must refund the scholarship amount.

Reservation Policy

  • If a reserved category student qualifies under the General Category merit list, they will be counted under the General Category for scholarship allocation.

Scholarship Benefits

  • Degree students: ₹50,000 per year (for up to four years or three years for lateral entry students).

  • Diploma students: ₹30,000 per year (for up to three years or two years for lateral entry students).

Interested students can apply through the AICTE Scholarship Portal by following these steps:

  1. Online Registration: Visit the official AICTE website and complete the application process.

  2. Institution Verification: Your host institution will verify your online application.

  3. Final Review: AICTE will conduct another round of verification before approving applications.
