The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the Civil Services Preliminary Examination (CSE) 2025 and the Indian Forest Service (IFS) Prelims. The exams are scheduled for May 25, 2025. Exam Overview
The Preliminary Exam consists of two objective papers:

Eligibility Criteria
1. Nationality
- Indian citizens can apply for IAS, IPS, and IFS.

- Minimum: 21 years
- Maximum: 32 years (General/EWS).
- Relaxations: OBC (35 years), SC/ST (37 years), PwBD (42 years).
3. Education
- A bachelor’s degree from a recognized university is required.
- Final-year students can apply but must provide proof of graduation later.
4. Number of Attempts
- General/EWS: 6 attempts
- OBC/PwBD: 9 attempts
- SC/ST: Unlimited (within age limits)
